Hi,
I've been playing around a bit with my autotune. I've found that it works when I put my microphone straight into a mixer, turn my mixer up heaps, then chanel it through the AVP to the amp.
But the autotune doesn't work if I put the microphone straight into the AVP, unless I sing ridiculously loud, and even then it's patchy. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to get the autotune to work if I send the mic straight through the machine?
Thanks,
Martin

If I am not completely mistaken, you need something to amplify the microphone signal before sending it through the AVP-1 unit. The impedance of the microphone and the direct input will most likely not match and therefore the AVP-1 is not getting enough signal to operate correctly. Some kind of microphone preamp between the microphone and the AVP-1 should do the trick.
