Welcome to the board, David.

If you are getting low out-put from the unit then there's a good chance that the mic needs a pre-amp before going into the AVP-1. Two ways you can achieve this is to (1) get ahold of a pre-amp and add it into the chain before you go into your AVP-1 or (2) run your mic through the mixer, use the effects send from the mixer and send it to the AVP-1, then return the effected track from the AVP-1 to a separate channel on your mixer.

You mentioned that the unit is only sending sound out of one channel. Please be careful when sending outputs out of the unit since the outputs don't delineate L/R output signals. In other words, the unit itself is mono operating. The first output is your main output that should go into your mixer without any panning. The second output is a doubler output which could go into another channel in your mixer to utilize a doubling effect (without any panning). Note, in order to utilize this doubling effect, you must turn on EQ2 which activates the secondary board for processing.

I highly recommend that you review the owners manual carefully to understand what each function on the unit does. Since you'll be using this in a live setting, you will benefit from understanding the unit to its full capability in case you need to make any changes on the fly or if somehow your settings change.

Have a great show!
Ok Take a Look at the mixer Im using if the link I provided the 4 channel eurorack it has IMP's In it and the other Carvin PA we are trying to set it up through is a powered PA.. Anyways when you say to put the send through another Channel do you mean like the line in on a channel where the mic would be. Ive tried to read the owners manuel and its just confusing.

So far all the videos on youtube the put there mics straight into the line in on the back with a 1/4 inch to XLR but that only makes it for one singer and i know theres a way to patch this into a PA or Mixer for multiple Singers.
The AVP-1 is a single voice processor. Trying to patch multiple sources into the unit will cause unreliable results. I don't recommend it.

Some microphones will work plugged directly into the unit-- others might not. It depends entirely on the mics ability to provide enough signal.

Here's a visual of the routing:

MIC --> MIXER (CH 1) --> MIXER SEND --> AVP IN --> AVP OUT --> MIXER (CH 2)
omg your a genus thanks for the simple break down i tried like ever combination but that haha Well i have another mic into channel three and since its patched through the Effect Send i get the Effect in both channels... I still kinda here my Normal voice i saw something on a thread about the minitor... is there any way to just get the Autotune Effect and not my regular voice as well? Thanks again man..
Well, there's some bad news there. The Behringer's seem to be lacking in pre-fader input capabilities. If you look behind this Mackie mixer (http://www.musiciansbuy.com/mmMBCOM/images/mackie/mackie_1202vlz3_R...) you'll see there are channel inserts that are pre-fader.

These inserts allow the audio to come into the mixer and utilize such things as effects sends but are otherwise unaffected by volume faders and EQ settings (the TRIM controls the output volume when using this routing). This is a perfect example of why they come in useful and why some manufacturers leave them out in order to offer a lower cost on the unit.

So in your case, it looks like you're going to need a pre-amp for your mic or another mixer that offers more routing options. I also checked the options on the mixer that you'll be using at the venue and it doesn't seem like it's offered on that model either.

The smartest move would probably be to get a hold of a pre-amp and not worry about which mixer has what routing options.
Ok How much does the do Pre Amps Run for any you would Suggest? and will getting a new mixer with a pre fader help not hearing my regular voice come through?

thanks for all your help...
Pre-amp prices vary drastically depending on quality. The decision depends on budget and application so I can't really make a good recommendation without having all the factors. You're local pro audio dealer would be the best avenue for getting questions like that answered.

Getting a mixer with pre-fader input would keep the source sound from coming through the mixer when it is properly setup. You might want to take your AVP-1 along with a Mic over to your local dealer and play with the options you have to see which one makes most sense to you before making an investment.
Awesome ya I think ill do that for sure. thanks a lot... So i kinda came accross another problem.. One We bought this on Ebay and the Power Source has a short in it... Can you link my to where i can buy another one? And one more thing , so we run beats and music through the laptop to the mixer in the Tape in with a Stereo Y TRS cable, So i got all the autotune sounding good where we want it... But... How we run our music if i push the CD/Tape to cntrl i dont hear the Autotune anymore. Is there a way around this.. I was thinking of buying a DI box and just going into a XRL channel becuase we tried just going from Stereo to the 1/4inch into a channel but we just dont get a good sound on our music.
AVP Parts and PSU's: https://qs1680.pair.com/anttech/public_ssl/support/parts.shtml

If you push the "Tape to CNTL Room" button, it assumes you have cables coming out from the back of the unit going to a... you guessed it... control room (excuse the sarcasm). You'll want to depress the "Tape to CNTL Room" button and press the "Tape to Mix" button.

Keep in mind, you're going to get an inherent latency when using plug-ins through a computer. So if you're running live vocals to be processed through Auto Tune on your computer (not the Hardware unit, AVP-1) then expect the effected voice to have a delay due to computer processing.
Ya no we have used the software this way to practice with it before buying the AVP but i run music from my laptop to my mixer and when i run it i have to have the CD tape to contrl to have the music play if not it doesnt play but when that button is armed autotune doesnt work... anyways i guess ill just get another mixer haha
I fixed it idk how but i did thanks for all your help man i give you five stars.
