I currently own AT4, AT Evo & AT7 (all VST).

What would be the best one to use for guitars? Especially tremoloed ones.

Melodyne DNA failed miserably.....

Assuming you're processing a monophonic line (as opposed to chords - Auto-Tune is not designed to process polyphonic material), AT7 is your best bet. 

Ah - of course, the old polyphonic thing.

That will explain it.....the lines have a lot of modulation & effect on them (recorded that way, although for the love of all the Gods I cannot understand why), and this is why it is not working.
