Hi, all.  Just lost 2+ hours trying to figure out something SO basic!  Grrrrr.....  Upgraded from AT4 to EVO.  Running it in Pro Tools 8.0.3 (Win).  ALL I want to do is what I used to do to pitch-correct my vocal: select it, Preview and the Make Changes, which rendered it to the track.  How the #@&% do I do that in Evo?  I've tried the GRAPH Mode "Track Pitch" button, but it does not seem to print/render the changes (pitch-correction) onto the Pro Tools track.  HELLLLLLLP!!!

Thanks,

David

I think what you're talking about it processing your audio through Pro Tools' Audio Suite. It should all be the same.
Hi, Art. What I'm trying to figure out is how to replicate what used to be the "Preview" and then "Apply Change" feautre in AT4 that would then render the pitch correction directly onto my Pro Tools track. With both AT4 & Evo I'm using it as a Plug-in. Is that what you were referring to?

I was referring to the AudioSuite menu that allows you to process your audio destructively. I think it's the 7th menu option in Pro Tools. This will give you the option to preview and then process the audio just as you mentioned. It should be no different between Auto Tune 4 and Evo.
Hi, Art. You wrote "I was referring to the AudioSuite menu that allows you to process your audio destructively. I think it's the 7th menu option in Pro Tools." and I actually saw that referrd to in teh PDF Manual for PT 8. But I CANNOT find that! I've used PT for years, so clearly the drugs I did in my 20s are catching up with me, because I simply cannot locate a way to activate the Destructive Audio function for a plug-in. DOH!!!!!
i am having the same issue.. i lost two hours of auto tuning thinking that maybe i could use the "select all" and "Cut" and "paste" buttons, but when i selected all, then cut, i lost it all. can't find any videos or tutorials or even anywhere in the manual which discusses this. unless, you have to just correct the entire vocal track using graphic mode and then keep the auto tune plug-in in the vst effects rack of each track that's being processed. i dont know. AT evo seems as a VST seems to eat up my CPU.
thanks art. i was thinking EVO was similar in that you destructively edit in Audiosuite and export to track the effected vocals. BUT... im not using protools this go round. and to my knowledge Studio One Pro doest have audiosuite, but I'll check again. thanks again
