I have loaded the LIft us away demo into Logic an in works perfectly.

I opened a new project and tried to emulate the settings with an audio track using Bus1 as output and a software instrument track with midi data.

I am however not able to figure out how to route the bus1 audio to the software instrument track with the harmony engine.

I have tried to ask on two Logic forums without getting any helpful answer.

Hoping for better luck here!

The sidechain - of course! Now when I know, I can even see it myself in the demo project :-)
Using the sidechain I was also able to use the same settings as in the demo project - sending the audio via a bus.
